Back in November, Michael was hard at work preparing the ground for a soccer pitch at Port Adelaide’s new MG High Performance Centre at Alberton Oval.
Michael spread gypsum onto the soil, preparing it for the upcoming turf installation on the soccer pitch.
Gypsum plays a crucial role in soil preparation by breaking down clay, which poses challenges for plant growth.
This process allows the soil to open up, making it easier for plant roots to spread out and for nutrients, air and water, to circulate.
Therefore, gypsum makes the soil healthier and provides optimal growth conditions for the turf.
We were thrilled to be able to participate in the development of Port Adelaide Football Club’s new state-of-the-art training and recovery facility.
